The Desert Realm is a website focused on science fiction and fantasy. Here you can find many related websites, art and graphics, and a writing based fantasy roleplaying game.
The Compendium is meant to take the website one step further and provide a list or collection of various articles about science fiction, fantasy, and the things in real life that have shaped these two genres.
Here you may find things directly about scifi and fantasy and their historical and scientific counterparts.
It is a daunting task for one person to provide a compendium spanning these two very large subjects so I am asking for your help. If you are knowledgeable in these areas, please contribute an article to the compendium. Together, we can provide the world a comprehensive knowledgebase of the science fiction and fantasy genres.

For those with related websites, as long as your article is knowledgeable in its own right, you can include a small section at the end of the article referring to your website as a place to get more infomation on the subject. In this way, the website still acts as a portal to science fiction and fantasy, but in a slightly different way.
To submit an article to the compendium, please register or log into the forum and post your article in the section titled "Compendium". Once it is approved, I will create a webpage for it.
